Installing a stock on the adapter
- Eject magazine, and make sure gun is unloaded
- Take AR-15 / M16 / M4 buffer tube and thread the castle nut onto it (notches to the rear)
- Slip receiver plate (notch pointing towards open end of buffer tube) onto the buffer tube
- Thread the buffer tube (with castle nut & receiver plate) into the adapter
- When the receiver plate gets close to the adapter line up the notch on it to the corresponding hole in the adapter
- Turn the castle nut towards the receiver plate in order to snug it up against the adapter
- Tighten up the castle nut using a stock wrench or your hand.
- Slip stock of choice onto buffer tube
- Double check that gun is unloaded
- Remove detent pin from the hole in the adapter insert
- Insert the pointed end of the adapter into the corresponding hole (behind the magwell) in the backstrap of the Glock
- Push up on the adapter until it hits the crest on the top of the grip
- Pull the upper brace of adapter around the crest of the grip, allowing it to fit into place
- Firmly push bottom of adapter so that the hole in the backstrap of the Glock lines up with the hole in the adapter
- While maintaining pressure on the bottom of the adapter, insert the detent pin (using a twisting motion) through the hole in the backstrap of the Glock and through the adapter
The fit is meant to be tight, so this may take some effort!
- You're ready to rock & roll
